OZBEK is a talented artist and label owner hailing from Istanbul, Turkey. With a passion for techno, OZBEK's music is known for its dark sounds and driving basslines, which are heavily influenced by the chaotic harmony of Istanbul's vibrant nightlife.
It was during his teenage years that OZBEK first explored the city's club scene, igniting a passion for electronic music and inspiring him to delve into the world of techno. The chaotic harmony of Istanbul can be heard in his music, which is marked by an ongoing aural stimulation, sudden shifts, and unexpected moments of calmness. His passion for electronic music has led him to explore and experiment with various genres and styles, ultimately guiding him to the path of techno, where his journey continues.
With a drive to create and innovate, he has released over 100 singles and 60 EPs, showcasing his talents as a producer and composer. OZBEK's music has been released on some of the most iconic labels in the techno genre, including Tronic, Set About, and Senso. His talent and productivity as an artist have earned him recognition and support from these renowned labels, further establishing his presence in the electronic music scene. His production have been supported by industry heavyweights like Tale Of Us, Enrico Sangiuliano at Awakenings, Sama' Abdulhadi, ANNA, and Drunken Kong, Ramon Tapia, Oscar L, Oliver Huntemann, Andhim, Hidden Empire, and among others.
In addition to his work as a producer, OZBEK is also a well-known DJ who has performed at clubs and festivals across Europe with international musicians such as Joseph Capriati, FJAAK, Layton Giordani, Enrico Sangiuliano, KAS:ST, Recondite, and many more.
OZBEK's impressive accomplishments as a musician and producer led him to co-found his own record label and event promoter brand, Extima Records. The label has become one of the core elements of his work and continues to be a driving force. Today, Extima Records releases songs from well-known names in the electronic music scene, as well as providing a platform for up-and-coming producers to explore a versatile range of techno styles.
All of these has helped OZBEK to land him a weekly residency radio show on the iconic electronic music station FG 93.7, giving him a platform to share his passion with a wider audience every Saturday.
His dream to come true album “OZBEK & Friends” is set to be released on December 30th, 2022, which already garnered a lot of support and excitement. OZBEK shows no sign of slowing down and will continue to push the boundaries.
